I have 18 years of retail experience and a solid background in event management and project management. I have held several senior management roles in the luxury goods sector and I worked for 3 years as a project co-ordinator for a boutique management consultancy in the City.
I am crazy about mountain biking, I love skiing, I am fascinated by ants and other insects and I love travelling, cooking, live music and stand-up comedy. I have been known to frequent open-mic poetry nights and I spend a lot of time cycling the towpaths and country lanes of Berkshire.
I am passionate about the work that I do for Launchpad; homelessness and the reasons for homelessness are very close to my heart and I find the work that we do here enormously rewarding.
Community involvement is at the heart of any successful charity organisation and nowhere more so than in Reading, a town which has proved itself time and again to be generous, compassionate and committed to improving the lives of the people who live here. I am constantly humbled by the people of this town.
Mizuno Half Marathon 2012
