Launchpad Reading can only help people to make changes to their lives with the support of a dedicated and committed team of housing and support professionals. It is true to say that no-one joined Launchpad plans to get rich quick, but this is more than compensated for by the sense of job satisfaction. The staff team are well-qualified and, between them, have many years of experience of working with some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

They bring with them expertise of working with people affected by homelessness, alcohol and substance misuse, mental health and domestic violence. The team includes people who have experience of working with young people experiencing difficulties as well as people with learning disabilities, those in prison or on probation and those searching for employment and on benefits. The team is a dynamic one. Staff are not afraid to speak their mind and keen to work together to develop responses to the needs of the people who ask for help. They are the reason that Launchpad is able to make a difference.


Mizuno Half Marathon 2012
