A corporate partnership with RSHP is an effective way of raising essential funds to support important projects for homeless people in and around the Reading area.

RSHP believe that the relationship between companies and charities is a very important one. Working with a charity can bring positive and lasting benefits to a company. In working with a charity of RSHP's local profile, public perception is a definite bonus, as well as employee motivation. Making it in a company's own interests to move towards increasing their social responsibility.

Sponsor an RSHP Project

Many companies seek to support projects that fit their CSR programme. RSHP is able to work with companies on their specific funding requirements and will help find the right project for the company.

RSHP are able to allow heavy company involvement along with sponsorship so that the company can get a real idea of how their investment is making a real difference to the homeless or Reading.

Sponsored projects can vary from smaller sized projects such as decorating the RSHP tenants room or paying for a Christmas Party through to larger projects such as befriending sponsorship or developing housing projects.

 

Sponsor an RSHP Event

Sponsoring an RSHP event allows a company to support the work which RSHP are doing, at the same as forging a strong and very public relationship with the RSHP brand.

RSHP have several events throughout the year which require investment to enable them to go ahead. An example of a successful partnership is that of RSHP and Xansa. The annual RSHP Sleep Out has been supported by Xansa through very generous sponsorship, in return Xansa where offered significant PR opportunities and ways to reach the general public, by connected themselve with a popular and well known event and charity.

RSHP has also been involved heavily in media sponsorship with many of their events which allows media (local or national) to show their support publically for a an important and topical issue.

RSHP publishes research and pulications to help try and break down the myths and misunderstandings around the subject of homelessness. It is important that the public as well as other agencies, organisations and companies understand the work that RSHP do and the people that they are helping.

RSHP has recently published a brochure with the help of Berkshire Community Foundation to talk about the work that they have done in the last year, showing how positive and innovative work can help our clients move forwards towards a more secure and independant lifestyle.

RSHP has also been able to create a piece of literature called the Essential Streetlife Guide. This guide is designed to point people who may be homeless in the right direction when they need help.  In Reading it is possible to obtain free phone calls, food and drink, clothes and bedding, needles, condoms, furniture and advice on a range of issues

The Essential Street Life guide to Reading has been produced by RSHP with the support of The Big Lottery Fund, Prudential and Job Centre Plus.
